I set a Grinch Christmas tree in my laundry room and my family loves it. I made many of the decorations but I feel like the Grinch is extra popular right now so you can order loads of Grinchy items online.

So let’s dive into how to bring this lovable villain to life in your holiday decor!

I can confirm, this is an actual Grinch hand

I had to order the Grinch hand coming out of the tree. Mine is in the laundry room so I replaced the red ornament it came with. I picked a red sock from the collection of socks I’ve got to sort through that have lost their mates.

i made my own tree topper with a bit of mishevious Grinch fun, but you can order plenty of pre-made ones online
I made my tree topper from an old Dollar Tree Fall sign that I painted over.

Grinch Christmas Trees

You can make your own Grinch tree out of a pencil tree like I did or you can order one that leans over just like the tree from Who-ville.

Add a pop of color to your tree with brightly colored red and green ribbon.

I added the Grinch hand coming out of the side of the tree because it’s too cute.

String a collection of lights around your tree. If it’s small, you can use the battery powered fairy lights that are tiny but make a big impact and click on and off easily with a remote. I used a pre-lit white flocked tree but I think colored lights would fit perfectly with this theme as well.

Add a cozy furry Grinch tree skirt to complete your Christmas tree. Mine is in my laundry room so I put my Grinch tree in a laundry bag instead of using a tree skirt.

Oh, and don’t forget what’s under the tree! Wrap your gifts in a Grinchy way! There are lots of items to chose from like Grinch wrapping paper and other gift decorating options.

Grinch Ornaments

Bring the Grinch to your Christmas tree with Grinch-themed ornaments, featuring the beloved character in various poses and outfits.

There are loads of items in stock to choose from. I also like the idea of adding a red heart to the tree to symbolize how the Grinch’s heart few several sizes at the end of the story.

Collect your favorite Grinch characters with Grinch village figures, featuring the characters and buildings from the beloved Dr. Seuss story.

The figurines depict various scenes from the popular story.

Add a Cindy Lou- Who of even a cute Max the dog to your collection.

Grinch Christmas Decorations for the Table and Tree Top

Grinch Table Decorations

Add a cute green furry table runner to your holiday-themed table. You could play up the hearts as well since Grinch’s heart grows as he’s touched by the love in Who-Ville. Bonus points if you do that because then you can use those same hearts for your Valentine’s Day decor!

Put some deliciousness at the center of your holiday table with Grinch-themed cookie jars full of cookies- I mean it’s the holidays after all!
