How to Make the Best Black Crow Halloween Wreath
Creating a Halloween wreath is one of the easiest and most fun ways to get into the spooky spirit!
This year I put together this crow wreath and incorporated a touch of my favorite color – turquoise. It’s not a typical Halloween color but that’s why I wanted to use it.
I love making fall decor on a budget. I also like to add a little sparkle to every project so the rhinestone accent below the crow’s feet give it a hint of glam.
So grab your supplies and let’s dive into some festive crafting.

DIY Halloween Crow Wreath Supplies
- Wicker wreath
- Black spray paint
- Hot glue gun
- Black crow (I repurposed mine from our Addams Family Trunk or Treat)
- Fake pampas grass– black, navy, and green/blue
- Feathers
- Rhinestone decoration
Putting the wreath together
- I spray-painted my wicker wreath
- Then pulled apart the feather branches and clustered them
- I hot-glued the feathers to the bottom of the wicker wreath
- I hot glued my crow to the top of the feathers
- I put the rhinestone cluster over the hot-glued section to hide the glue
Tips for Displaying Your Wreath
Display your Halloween wreath on your front door, porch, or entryway to create a welcoming atmosphere. I put mine in my dining room near my DIY ghost garland though so you can really put it anywhere.
Consider adding some jack-o-lanterns or other Halloween decorations to complement your wreath.

By the way, I used some of the extra black crows that came in the pack to go with our Mary Poppins family costume theme so bonus points for the double use!
