Best Fall Door Hangers For A Warm Home In 2024
As much as I’m always in denial about summer ending, autumn is coming at us, and what better way to embrace the change than with fun fall door hangers?
Your front door is one of the first things anyone sees when they visit your place so let’s make it sing.
During our remodel of our first floor, we ripped out the dated turquoise single door and replaced it with gorgeous mahogany double glass doors that I scored through an awesome find at our local Architectural Salvage place in Louisville, KY.
So of course I love decorating them for the various seasons.
A fall door hanger is more than just a charming decoration—they’re a warm, inviting welcome mat for the season.
Adding a fall-themed door hanger is an easy way to embrace the cozy spirit of autumn and make your home feel extra inviting.
In this post, we’ll explore some fun fall door hangers that can elevate your front porch and set the tone for the season ahead.

Fall Door Decorations
You can choose to switch out your door decorations for each holiday like Thanksgiving and Halloween or you can opt for something that will take you through the entire season and won’t be holiday-specific.
I was able to do this with my red Christmas wreaths. I transitioned them to Valentine’s Day by adding a few cute hearts. I like the idea of doing this with autumn as well.
I love the idea of incorporating fresh fall flowers into the porch decor, but you have to keep in mind it might not last as long as artificial flowers so I’ve included options for both here.
You can also make an easy DIY Dollar Store Pumpkin wreath easily with a few simple supplies.

These are trendy right now and come in a lot of varieties. The nice part about these is that they often come in just one piece so you don’t have to worry about things falling off. That happened to me one year with a DIY wreath I had up in the full sun, so the hot glue melted in the hot sun and my cute wreath pieces fell off one by one.

Halloween Door Hangers
Halloween is a fun time to do something totally different with your front porch than the rest of the year. It’s the one time of year when you can get a little crazy and everyone is totally okay with it.
I like the idea of getting a hanger that incorporates some sort of light. It seems more Halloween-ish to me.
